Apparently, Apple's threat to shutter the music store if the CRB raised the royalty rates from 9 cents to 15 cents had an impact. CNet is reporting that Apple won the battle. Needless to say, the labels aren't happy - but at this point, if the labels are sad, it's a good sign.
