I love Steve Ballmer - he lives in his very own little pocket universe:
Microsoft Chief Executive Steve Ballmer on Thursday dismissed the Android mobile operating system, saying he believed that building it was financially unsound for Google.
He claims not to understand the revenue model, but what's not to understand? Google ships out a phone OS that other people integrate into devices, and they make sure that the phone has plenty of ways to hit Google services... all of which have the potential for location based ad sales. Contrast that with Microsoft's phone strategy, which seems to be something along the lines of "sell really huge phones that no one wants, but that can have Windows stuffed into them".
