Andres ran some sizing tests on keywords to test this assertion from Vassili's last post:
Vassili commented that most of the time, things like keywords are small enough so that the $: (or '::') fits within the bounds of our fovea and so we recognize words at a glance as opposed to scanning them.
He ran a test, and got some numbers on the average size of keywords in a development image, and then said he'd love to test some application images. Well - I'd be happy to see what comes out of BottomFeeder and Silt, so I'll try running his tests today.
