My only answer to this is not to set a CLASSPATH variable at all - invoke your compiler with the classpath option, and if that becomes too tedious (if your classpath becomes large), write a script that invokes your compiler with the necessary options. The other alternative, where you are using external libraries, is to place them in the standard extensions directory of your jre. > I saw couple of discussion on classpath. But still I am not clear how to set this environmental variable. How can we do in in UNIX. A clarification is greately appriciated. thanks.
