Java Applications

Hi folk,

Currently, I have some problems with Java applications on my machine. My machine has around 800 MB ram, 1G Hz Cpu so there should be no quesiton about my machine. These applications have problem with mouse click. For example, when i click the main menue and select something from pull down, a trail of marks is left on the pull down menu. Also, when I scroll down or up all the text seems mixed up making it impossible to read until I click mouse somewhere. This is strange and I don't have any solution. Would somebody tell me as what is wrong?
