> If it is said that the daemon threads are existing even when the JVM stops execution, then when does the Daemn gets garbage collected and how to stop the daemmon threads????? It is not sure the deamon threads will exist even the JVM stops execution. We can assume the deamon threads are like Service threads and it provide services to User Threads. The deamon thread will be garbage collected,if no more user threads are to schdule. When ever a user thread Gar/. Collected the JVM will check for any more user threads to scdule. If no more user threads then JVM will gar./ collect all the deamon threads. regs
