Message:

make a whole GUI(JFrame,JList,...)persistent

Posted by andy on June 13, 2001 at 6:15 PM

hi,
i've got a JFrame with a JList(with defaultListModel).
what i want to do now is:
when closing the JFrame, the whole GUI should be made persistent, so that when starting the programm again, everything looks just like beforing exiting the program?
is it possible to store all components in one(JFrame, JButton, JList showing my datas) or can i only store my ListModel (with datas showed in JList)????
in other words makes it sense to write only the JFrame to the output stream??????
