> Well You can certainly establish a connection but the problem is JDBC_ODBC driver is not downloaded on client machine along with the applet .So if the client on which your applet gets downloaded does not have the driver installed will flash an error.
> Therefore for Internet solutions you should go for connectivity using 3/4 type driver eg IDS or Oracle Driver.
> But for Itranet you can opt for ODBC-JDBC Bridge(Where u r sure that clients will have windopws machine and odbc installed on them).
