swing - syntax color in editor text

You can search the java.sun.com website. They have an editorkit for download that
can color certain words in a JEditorPane or JTextPane. If you want to use a JTextPane,
you cannot. There is no way besides extending it and adding the nessesary code that you
can use JTextArea.
