Urgent:Session Traking in JSP pages

I have one page where I am listing all the names from the database and giving links to all the users for the next jsp page,where I am displaying the details of particular user by passing the username along with the link.
I am getting the details but I could not able to maintain a session so that any one can access that url in a new window and can view the details of the user.
pls help me out its very urgent.
