Have you thought about alternatives? You are basically pigeon-holing yourself to a particular set of operating systems. Why not have a batch file set the correct environment variables, and invoke the Java interpreter for interpreting your class files?

If you don't care about portability, why not use C/C++? You will get better speed from the platform optimization.
