Package Naming Convention: All lowercase?

I'm looking for a proper naming convention for packages, together with some supporting resources/guidelines.

In 'Thinking in Java, 2nd edition' (chapter 5: Creating unique package names), it said that in Java 2, the entire package name has changed to lowercase.

I would like to know if there is Sun's or any other resources which explained this.
