problems with e-mail

Dear Yahoo,

I use yahoo e-mail at work, but I always run into the same two errors when using the mail.

1. When I use spell check, it erases the document after it corrects a word.

2. When I type a letter, save it in a folder and send it to people in my address book, it cuts off parts of the different paragraphs.

Any ideas what might be causing this?
