Initializing states of SF Session Beans to defaults values

Posted by Shamik Bose on May 21, 2001 at 4:04 AM

If a SFSB upon 'remove' call , goes to a pool , I have used reflection to set the
states to default values just before that so that next time it is created , thereby ,
getting the bean from pool , the Bean in in init state . Does using
reflection in this case is a performance bottleneck. I thought, since the
'remove' call on ejb will be only once per session, it should be fine .
Is there any alternative ?
