SDK 1.3 for Windows

Got a question, I wrote a small application and it worked at school. I installed SDK1.3 from the Sun website and it compiles fine but it will not run when I try to run the bytecode on Windows 2000 machine (it runs applets ok though).
I actually get the following error:
"Exception in thread 'main' java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError"

Is there an additional package I need to install before running my application.
