Message:
Specifically, is there any real performance gain when using GridBag as opposed to nesting, say, BoxLayout, FlowLayout, and BorderLayout together? On what order of magnitude? Or is GridBagLayout simply a convenience to the programmer, and "under the hood" it actually is implemented by nesting the other managers together anyway? Thanks in advance.
