Message:

Use fully-qualified name of your class

Posted by Kishori Sharan on July 26, 2001 at 10:31 PM

When you run a Java program then you always specify the fully qualified name of class. The fully-qualified name of class is package name plus a dot plus the name of class. Everything is case sensitive. So use the fully-qualified name of your class which is expertplan.misc.TestMain. You should not pass this name in quoble quotes. Again the classpath should be directory path. All taken together your command to run your Java class will be:

e:dev/proj>java -cp e:/dev/proj/classes expertplan.misc.TestMain
