policy file question

I am writing a policy file that will allow the code base in a jar
file all permissions except for one of its classes. The class in
question is the interface to our server. Do I need to explicitly
grant privileges to every class in the jarfile, or is it possible
to do a "grant all" but override that for the one class? I'm also
exploring the option of breaking that one class out into a
separate jar.

I'd appreciate hearing from someone who has done the same thing
before.
