Why IE5 asks for a Bean Info class?

Posted by Brkic Svemir on May 11, 2000 at 4:25 AM

I am developing a site at In Java section, there is an applet that shows Mandelbrot fractal in a few ways.

Unfortunately, under SOME versions of IE 5, it doesn't work. I checked the log file, and there are a few unsuccesful attempts to load MandelbrotBeanInfo.class.

Mandelbrot is the name of my class, but I've never even tried to program any Java Beans. And I surely didn't mention any BeanInfo in my source or HTML page(s). What this might be?
