Is possible to change the time zone of the JVM?

Is possible change the time zone of the JVM, to update the time
when it's sumer or winter, without shout down the execution of
the application? I know that its possible to change the
paramenter GTM from the jsvdk's startserver, but i don't know how
to modify after starting the aplication.
