the error is because of the junk name u have given as the service name. The oracle database Listener needs to resolve the service name before making a connection.
To start with we can use either of the Drivers. preferrably go with the Oracle ODBC Driver. all the 3 fields DSN,service name and the userid are a must. To find out what these are u have to check the files the LISTENER.ORA, TNSNAMES.ORA on the machine where Oracle is installed for the entry SID. And I believe u have the oracle database installed on ur local machine otherwise u need to install the oracle client software.
