Lots of unanswered questions. (Few are...)

I find this interesting. With 500 beans yours sure is a big application!

With 250 users on Apache, you already know that you are testing its limits. (Without changing the source code, Apache allows for 256 users). I second Cva - 393MB for memory may not be just enough. However, before jumping into conclusions, it would make me better understand if you let me know these too:

1. How many connection pools do you have to the database?

2. How many instance of Apache or Tomcat are configured?

3. How many Contexts are being loaded at a time (when you start the servlet engine)?

4. Does the SQL Server go down?

Thanks,

-Jay.
