Japi Questions

Posted by Leroy on June 10, 2001 at 1:04 PM

Dear Java Expert: How are you? I'm trying to understand
some Java Telephony Concepts. I can use your help. So I
thought to email you some Java Telephony Questions.

So here we go!

In the JTAPI Call Center package, there is a feature
called predictive call.

For the feature called predictive call, there are five terms used. The five terms are originating device,
originating Connection, originating end, destination end, destination Connection.

What is a originating device, and what is a destination
end?

Is a originating device and destination end a terminal,
address,ACDManager or ACDAddress? Please explain what they are.

What is a originating end? Is a originating end the same thing as a originating device?

What is a originating Connection and what is a destination Connection?

And last, what are trucks in JTAPI?

Please email me back; your answers at
leroy0591@yahoo.com. Please clarify your
answers.

Thank you very much for your help,
and your time and energy! God bless you!

-Leroy
