Effective AI-Assisted Development

A hands-on, two-day workshop that helps your team use AI coding tools effectively—without sacrificing quality.

  • Want to attend a public workshop? We don't have one on the calendar at the moment—email us and we'll let you know as soon as we schedule the next one.
  • Bring it to your team (in-house) — we run the workshop on-site, tailored to your codebase and stack. Email us or call (925) 918-1769.
  • Not sure yet? Start with a free lunch & learn for your team. Email us to set one up.

AI coding tools are advancing rapidly—week to week—and many development teams feel uncertain about how to use them effectively for real software. “Vibe coding” may work for a quick prototype, but it doesn’t hold up for software that must stay correct, maintainable, and reliable over time. Modern AI tools don’t remove the need for software engineering practices; they change how those practices are applied. Getting the most from AI takes new workflows, feedback loops, and collaboration techniques.

In this hands-on workshop, your developers work through real exercises with modern AI coding tools and agents, learning to build quality-focused AI development workflows, structure effective review and feedback loops, and orchestrate multiple agents and tools in parallel. Teams may use their own AI services or connect to provided open-source models. The exercises are language-agnostic, and can be tailored to your team’s stack on request.

Your team will leave with practical workflows for increasing productivity while maintaining software quality, stronger intuitions for collaborating with AI systems, and concrete techniques for building reliable AI-assisted development processes. The goal is not to replace engineering discipline with AI, but to combine modern AI tools with strong engineering practices to make the most effective use of human time, attention, and expertise.
